Remember Ribbit? The company creates a single online phone that consolidates all your voice lines. And just recently, the Technology Marketing Corporation named Ribbit for Salesforcea 2008 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award. Earlier this year, Ribbit for Salesforce was named the “Best Mobile App of 2008″on the salesforce.com AppExchange, based solely on salesforce.com customer reviews.
Ribbit for Salesforce “helps sales organizations do more with less by reducing their administrative burden, and helping them become more responsive and collaborative,” the company boasts. Ribbit offers a voice-to-text conversion capability, which enables members of the sales staff to dictate notes and memos using their mobile phones. The data automatically flows directly into Salesforce, and the users’ email inboxes — eliminating the need to type updates.
Salesforce is a vendor of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, which it delivers to businesses over the internet using the software as a service model.
Ribbit for Salesforce can simplify sales management by storing and organizing voicemail like email in salesforce.com, with messages fully mapped to leads, contacts, and in-progress deals. In addition, all voice messages are delivered as SMS or email so salespeople can respond or forward immediately, without dialing into voicemail.
